North Star, Vision and Growth: Reflecting on the EMEA & APJ QBR

EMEA & APJ strategic map with data points

One of the most exciting aspects of our journey at Armis has been our rapid growth. In mid-2021, we had a modest team of 14 people serving the EMEA and APJ regions. Fast forward to today, and we have grown exponentially to approximately 250 people, covering all critical growth territories. This growth is a testament to our commitment and dedication to serving our customers and partners outside of North America.

Our growth is not just about numbers. It’s about expanding our reach and making our innovative cybersecurity solutions accessible to organizations around the world. We have forged partnerships with hundreds of partners in the EMEA and APJ regions, strengthening our global footprint and enhancing our ability to serve diverse markets.

Our commitment to our customers is at the heart of everything we do. We understand that in the fast-paced world of cybersecurity, the needs of our customers are constantly evolving. That’s why we are dedicated to continuously improving our platform, ensuring that it remains at the forefront of cybersecurity asset management.

However, with rapid and efficient scaling comes challenges. As we grow, we are learning and adapting. Each challenge presents an opportunity for us to improve and innovate. Whether it’s streamlining our processes, enhancing our systems, or fostering better collaboration among our teams, we are committed to overcoming these challenges and continuing our journey of growth and success.

Armis recently hosted our EMEA and APJ (International) QBR & Off-Site in Athens, Greece.

The week was a tremendous success, fostering active collaboration and focusing all teams on our efficient growth focused ‘’North Star’. It was particularly beneficial for new team members, helping them connect better with the business and demonstrating Armis’ commitment to collaboration.

In today’s digital age, remote work has become a common practice. While it offers numerous benefits such as flexibility and accessibility, it can sometimes pose challenges to effective collaboration. The lack of face-to-face interaction can lead to communication gaps, making it difficult for teams to work together seamlessly.

That’s where the hybrid approach comes in. A hybrid work model, which combines remote work with in-person collaboration, often works best. It offers the best of both worlds – the flexibility of remote work and the collaborative benefits of in-person interactions.

At Armis, we understand the importance of coming together. While we leverage digital tools to facilitate remote work, we also recognize the value of in-person meetings. There’s a unique energy and synergy that comes from being in the same room, brainstorming ideas, and working together towards a common goal.

The recent EMEA and APJ QBR in Athens was a testament to this. It was an opportunity for our team to come together, to connect, and to collaborate. Despite the challenges posed by rapid growth and scaling, the event was a tremendous success. It fostered active collaboration, helped new team members connect better with the business, and demonstrated our commitment to making working at Armis more frictionless.

The event was attended by approximately 105 Armisers from various departments, including SEs, AEs, BDRs, SDRs, CS, Marketing, HR, and Finance.

Here are the Key Takeaways from this EMEA and APJ QBR in Athens:

  1. Collaboration: The QBR & off-site was a testament to the power of collaboration. The event brought together diverse teams from across the company, fostering an environment where everyone could voice their challenges and propose solutions. The discussions were rich, insightful, and constructive, highlighting the importance of cross-functional collaboration in addressing company-wide issues. The event served as a platform for open dialogue, where everyone from SEs, AEs, BDRs, SDRs, CS, Marketing, HR, and Finance could share their perspectives and contribute to the collective wisdom of the group. This collaborative spirit is a cornerstone of our company culture and a key driver of our success. We are #OneArmis because of our immense ability to communicate, collaborate and work as one.
  2. Team Building: The event served as an excellent platform for team building. New team members had the opportunity to connect better with the business, understanding their roles in the larger Armis ecosystem. The event served as a reminder of what we are all working towards and the role each team plays in reaching that goal. It helped to further align our efforts and strategies towards our ‘North Star’, ensuring that we are all moving in the same direction. This clear sense of purpose and direction is crucial for maintaining focus and momentum as we navigate the complexities and challenges of scaling Armis efficiently.
  4. Vision: The QBR & off-site was a powerful reminder of the vision our founders have for Armis. Our founders have always envisioned Armis as a company that revolutionizes the way businesses approach cybersecurity. They believe in creating a world where every device is safe and where businesses can operate with full confidence in their security. As quoted during our celebration of reaching $100 Million ARR, our Co-Founder and CEO Yevgeny Dibrov said, “As we look ahead, I am confident that our team at Armis will continue to push the boundaries of what is possible, and I am excited to see what the future holds for us all. Our mission is to provide the most comprehensive asset intelligence platform, and we are dedicated to delivering on that promise every day.”. This vision is what guides us in our daily operations and strategic decisions. It’s what inspires us to innovate and strive for excellence.
  5. Growth: The QBR & off-site underscored our growth trajectory. As Armis is rapidly expanding and evolving we are implementing new systems, enhancing training and we are all focused and geared towards supporting and sustaining our growth. The event was a clear indication that we are not just growing, but we are also learning, adapting, and improving as we grow. This focus on growth and continuous improvement is a key part of our strategy, ensuring that we are always ready to seize new opportunities and overcome new challenges.

The event was a testament to the power of collaboration and the incredible things we can achieve when we come together with a shared purpose. At Armis, we are not just a team, but a community united by a common goal – to revolutionize the world of cybersecurity. And as we continue on this journey, we are more confident than ever that we have the people, the passion, and the vision to make our dreams a reality.
