The landscape of modern computing, driven by massive data centers evolving into AI factories and the accelerating power of AI, is undergoing a major transformation that is reshaping how intelligence is trained, tuned, and deployed at scale.
But with this comes greater security challenges. Armis is announcing a powerful new integration that brings advanced, real-time cyber exposure management directly onto NVIDIA BlueField data processing units (DPUs), enabling continuous visibility and protection across modern data centers, AI factories, and virtualized environments.
The biggest challenge in securing high-speed AI and data center environments has always been performance. Traditional security solutions often act as bottlenecks, consuming valuable CPU cycles and slowing down critical applications. With Armis Centrix™, Armis’ Cyber Exposure Management Platform, now embedded directly within NVIDIA BlueField, security is offloaded and accelerated at the infrastructure level – giving organizations uncompromised protection with no impact on performance.
This new integration provides several benefits:
- Eliminates the traditional security vs. performance trade-off by offloading and accelerating security processing to NVIDIA BlueField, allowing organizations to maximize the value and speed of their AI and compute investments.
- Deep, hardware-level visibility into the host, hypervisor, virtual machines, and containers to enable the real-time identification and management of vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and emerging threats.
- Automation of security workflows and policy enforcement by integrating with existing security infrastructure, such as firewalls and Network Access Control (NAC) solutions, to enable automated responses like quarantining a compromised device and stopping threats before they can spread.
- Seamless, agentless deployment by installing directly onto new or existing BlueField DPUs, which eliminates host-based agents to deliver zero performance impact, streamline deployment, and ensure broad compatibility with any host OS and firmware.
Enhanced Security and Accelerated Performance with NVIDIA BlueField
Combining Armis Centrix™ with the NVIDIA BlueField platform delivers enterprise-grade, real-time security while maintaining operational continuity.
BlueField takes on the intensive work of security processing, offloading tasks from the host CPU cycles to maximize performance for AI and mission-critical workloads. This allows AI factories to run faster, more efficiently, and more securely than ever before, accelerating both performance and protection simultaneously.
Earlier this year, Armis announced that Armis Centrix™ is enabled by NVIDIA BlueField. The solution is now integrated with NVIDIA DOCA Argus detection and response, extending protection across diverse workloads and environments.
Armis Centrix™ has also been validated on the NVIDIA RTX PRO Server, demonstrating seamless integration in enterprise-grade environments. This validation enables organizations to secure high-performance, diverse workloads while simplifying deployment and accelerating time-to-value.
Additionally, the solution is architected to extend seamlessly to NVIDIA BlueField-4 DPUs, leveraging next-generation acceleration for AI networking and security. This ensures enterprises can scale protection and performance as they advance toward the era of gigascale AI infrastructure.
