Michael Bimonte serves as the CTO for SLED at Armis, bringing over 30 years of IT expertise from both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining Armis, Mike was the Deputy Commissioner at the New York City Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (DoITT), where he dedicated nearly two decades to modernizing, consolidating, and transforming the department into a world-class service provider for New York City’s agencies and its 8+ million residents.
Mike’s ability to connect with public sector clients stems from his firsthand experience and deep understanding of their unique challenges. His insightful perspective has been invaluable to state and local governments worldwide. Before his tenure in New York City, Mike gained experience in the financial services industry and worked with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
A proud New Yorker, Mike was born and raised in the city, and now resides in New Jersey with his family.
