Armis Cyber Security  is seeking a Technical Trainer to perform as a member of our Customer Success & Technical Account Management teams.  This role will report into our Senior Director, Enablement & Engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Build knowledge of, and stay current in Armis  products and solutions, and associated offerings
  • Act as technical training lead across all delivery modalities for an individual Armis product/solution
  • Provide intermediate level and advanced level technical education and training in both formal and informal instructional settings
  • Deliver highly technical, detailed, and engaging training using multiple delivery modalities on Armis emerging technologies
  • Participate in beta deliveries of new courses and drive continual improvement of assigned courses based on feedback
  • Create, update, troubleshoot and maintain complex virtual lab environments
  • Become technical expert on Armis cyber-security portfolio and their interaction with 3rd party network services/devices
  • Understand and be able to explain/train on product architecture and internal module workflow
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to ensure that all technical content in assigned courses is relevant and up-to-date
  • Use sound instructional design techniques to analyze, design, and develop technical training courseware
  • Define appropriate learning objectives and create knowledge checks and assessment questions to support the validation of learner’s knowledge based on course content
  • Create media assets or leverage existing assets, perform image manipulation/optimization and modification of design layout to suit changes in the content
  • Drive all quality reviews, including user acceptance testing for all assigned courses
  • Exercise independent judgement in developing methods, techniques, and criteria for achieving objectives
  • Develops strategies and sets functional training direction for training delivery
  • Participates in cross-organizational, multi-function teams with scope outside of training
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to lower level Technical Trainers

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of technical training experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science
  • First-hand knowledge of cyber-security industry
  • Technical certification a plus: CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, SSCP etc. or equivalent experience
