As Armis grows rapidly, we are seeking a highly motivated, charismatic experienced Bookkeeper and Payroll Controller to join our Finance team. Your role as an experienced Bookkeeper and Payroll Controller will be critical to the company’s success. The Senior Bookkeeper will report to the Director, Corporate Controller.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of bookkeeping as a head bookkeeper, experience in a global hi-tech company and multi-currency environment
  • Certified Bookkeeping Level 2 or 3
  • Public company experience is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Netsuite is an advantage
  • Experience with Israeli Payroll regulations as a controller (Hilan) is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel
  • Works efficiently, accurately and pays attention to detail
  • Strong English skills
  • A team player and ready to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent multi-tasker

Responsibilities

  • Full service, end-to-end bookkeeping for a high-growth, fast paced global hi-tech company
  • Responsible for monthly trial balance close for the Israeli entity, including but not limited to bank and credit card reconciliations, posting of journal entries, fixed asset register management, month end accruals and cut-off accounts, and preparing supporting close package working papers
  • Ongoing reconciliation including closing entries and cut-off accounts
  • Perform all activities related to AP including reviewing and processing payments as well as purchase requisition cycle
  • Manage AP Alias
  • Manage the AR cycle, including issuing Sales Orders, monthly invoicing and collection
  • Process Travel & expenses reports and maintain approval flow
  • Reporting to governmental authorities including ITA, National Insurance and VAT
  • Assist and support in year-end audit process
  • Assist in improving, developing, and documenting accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Ad hoc accounting projects as needed
