Reporting Manager: Director of Marketing - EMEA

You know the French market extremely well. You are someone who gets stuff done, you thrive on producing events that generate real meetings, leads and opportunities. You know that events are about generating revenue. You know the importance of conducting pre, during and post event campaigns. You really like to target accounts and to get the right people to the right event. You know how to do account mapping and how to target prospects digitally. You love to work alongside sales. You build strong relationships locally. 

You speak French fluently and can translate English content into French. You have direct experience working for a global B2B Technology company and have a keen sense of design. You will be reporting to the Director of Marketing - EMEA and have a dotted line into the Senior Marketing Manager, ABM.

You can travel across EMEA if and where needed.

Ideal candidate:

Our ideal candidate is both a “doer” and a leader and has worked with a range of firms. They like to make things happen. They are very collaborative & affable. They can execute plans and follow direction. You like to network, you like to get things done.  She/he/they have direct experience in event marketing & ABM. They are culturally sensitive and possess high levels of emotional intelligence. They know what it is like to operate in scale-up. They know we are agile and change rapidly. You are able to lead without lots of direction.

You: 

The following are not exhaustive, we are flexible for the right person, past-experience is key however: 

  • 5+ years’ experience working is social media, French marketing, marketing in French speaking territories   
  • You have already worked with organizations in cyber security, B2B technology or SaaS or related fields
  • You have a legal right to work in France or the European Union 
  • Excellent communicator, you are clear, concise and affable
  • People respect you and like you
  • Skilled at working with multiple internal and external parties
  • You have strong emotional intelligence
  • You are naturally an organized person
  • You can easily maintain a calendar, prioritize responsibilities, and strategically manage your own budget
  • You gave have demonstrated success in managing contractors/agencies when and where needed
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced working environment where agility and pivoting are a part of the journey
  • Self-driven, positive, and collaborative individual. You enjoy collaborating and going it alone when needed

 

Possible Career Path Opportunities:
In 14 months’ time, subject to successful performance and role availability this post-holder will be eligible to apply for the role of Senior Marketing Manager, if and where it is available. Furthermore after 14 months of consecutive high performance, the post-holder may elect to choose to apply for alternate role within Marketing organization and/or wider business.
