Director, Technical Account Management – EMEA

The Global Technical Account Management team is part of the Success organization, and key in ensuring the success of Armis customers globally. We pride ourselves as we help our customers fully leverage the power of Armis platform to address their security needs while driving operational success. We are looking for a strong and knowledgeable leader to run and guide the Regional Technical Account Management team. You will drive the accounts in the region to success, where your TAMs will each have responsibility for their assigned accounts, maintaining a single-minded focus to ensure clients are extracting the most value out of their Armis investment. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional leader with a track record of leading technical account managers and professional services teams in a fast-pace and growth startup / enterprise / SaaS software company, preferably in the security space.

The candidate should have the ability to translate complex technical issues into tangible solutions. The individual enjoys working hard, is dedicated to exceeding expectations and driving a similar mindset across the team, is highly technically skilled and has excellent collaboration skills, and is able to learn new technologies quickly.

This is a 100% remote position for those located in Europe

Success in this role requires: 

  • A passion for leading and scaling the regional TAM team, while coaching and mentoring individuals.
  • Excitement from a technical deep-dive in implementation plans, troubleshooting activities and network debugging activities
  • Technical insight and deep understanding in the product capabilities, network architecture and other related technologies.
  • Leading by example with taking ownership on several high-profile accounts in the region
  • Ensuring that technical and business use cases are appropriately captured and delivered in a timely manner to all accounts in the region
  • Demonstrated communication and facilitation skills, proven track record of building relationships with senior stakeholders, and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Working jointly with Customer Success Managers, Collaborating with Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Support and Sales teams to drive accounts success
  • Keep employees, teams and management engaged, motivated and focused on short-term urgencies while preparing for long term growth.

Requirements

Requirements 

  • B.S in IT, IS, CS, MIS or equivalent degree
  • 10+ years’ relevant experience in leading technical services / support / deployment organizations at a SaaS company within a software organization and demonstrated execution of growth strategies.
  • A collaborative approach at the executive and team level, working closely with Sales on opportunities and a smooth, seamless handoff to Customer Success
  • A demonstrated track record of taking ownership of complex initiatives and producing successful outcomes.
  • Background in troubleshooting or supporting large enterprise networks and familiarity with network protocols seen in either biomedical, OT/ICS, or corporate IT settings
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python preferred)
  • Excellent communication and verbal skills
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 20%)
