This role requires strong leadership, drive and ambition coupled with an innate ability to collaborate. You live and breathe Federal & SLED marketing. You know the public sector. You have years of experience in leading a public sector marketing team.


You are someone who gets stuff done, you map out your own strategy & plan. You know where to exhibit, why, where & with whom. You know how to position SaaS, cloud and platform vendors with US Federal & SLED authorities. You are both strategic and operational. You like to manage and lead a team. You are a ‘player & coach’. You are positive, professional and affable. You will report to the Senior Director, Demand Generation and have a dotted line into the Public Sector sales lead.

You work well with sales people selling into the Federal government and SLED agencies. Your team consists of another Director, Content specialist and a Field Marketing Specialist, who are all
dedicated to the Public Sector Team. You can also draw on the wider skills and services of the broader marketing organization.



Ideal candidate:


Our ideal candidate is both a “doer” and a leader and has worked with a range of firms. They like to make things happen. They are very collaborative & affable. They can develop clear strategies, plans, and can execute against them. You like to network; you like to get things done. She/he/they have direct experience in Americas Public Sector Marketing. They are culturally sensitive and possess elevated levels of emotional intelligence. They know what it is like to operate in scale-up. They know we are agile and change rapidly. You can lead without lots of direction.


The following are not exhaustive, we are flexible for the right person, experience is key however:


- 10+ years’ experience working in public sector marketing and leading a team
- You have already worked with organizations in cyber security and/or B2B technology and/or SaaS and/or cloud and Federal and SLED entities
- Excellent communicator, you are clear, concise, and affable.
- People respect you and like you.
- Skilled at working with multiple internal and external parties.
- You have strong emotional intelligence.
- You are naturally an organized person.
- You can easily maintain a calendar, prioritize responsibilities, and strategically manage your own budget.
- You gave have demonstrated success in managing contractors/agencies when and where needed.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced working environment where agility and pivoting are a part of the journey.
- Self-driven, positive, and collaborative individual. You enjoy collaborating and going it alone when needed.

Possible Career Path Opportunities:


In 16 months’ time, subject to successful performance and role availability this post-holder will be eligible to apply for a Senior Director role - if and where one is available. Furthermore after 16 months of consecutive high performance, the post-holder may elect to choose to apply for alternate roles within the Marketing organization and/or wider business.
