Are you passionate about Account Based Marketing (ABM)? Do you want to help build an ABM team of excellence? Do you know the importance of targeting key accounts with ‘one-to-few’ (cluster) and one-to-one campaigns. Do you see the value in working closely with your peers in Sales and CSM to break through and engage with key decision makers? Are you a practical person, willing to not only do the strategic work, but also get your hands dirty with the day to day execution?

The Director of Account-Based Marketing will drive our ABM program across our customer and prospect segments. In this role, you will be delivering one-to-one and one-to-few ABM programmes, while developing a centre of excellence for Account Based Marketing at Armis.

We are looking for someone who gets stuff done. Someone who can be both a player and a coach.  You thrive on producing campaigns and coordinating with sales. You collaborate well and know what great ABM looks like. This is not your first rodeo, and you have built out a world-class ABM team before, from the ground up. You know what it takes to succeed and understand that piloting and testing are key approaches to getting it right.

You can help to educate others on the importance of ABM, to sit down with them and explain the importance of account mapping and strategic account planning. You know how to demonstrate the ROI from ABM activities (which can be hard to demonstrate). You can build both the ABM strategy and execute with others against the plan.

You will report to our Senior Director of Demand Generation in the UK & will actively collaborate with 5 people who have an ABM remit in the USA and EMEA. You will need to be able to travel across EMEA & the USA if and where needed.

You know what it is like to operate in scale-up with agility and the ability to thrive in an ever changing environment.

 

Experience:

The following are not exhaustive, we are flexible for the right person, experience is key however:

  • 10+ years’ experience working in Marketing and ABM
  • Experience in cyber security, B2B technology or SaaS or related fields
  • Experience developing and delivering digital marketing campaigns
  • Have a strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to track and report on leading campaign
  • Be a data driven marketer that is comfortable with numbers and presenting back to the organization on data insights and performance metrics.
  • You are adept at building relationships with the sales organisation (and sales leadership) to leverage their knowledge and insights
  • You have experience in recommending and facilitating the use of digital channels and tools such as programmatic advertising, LinkedIn sponsored ads and personalized websites as part of the ABM methodology.
  • Excellent communicator, you are clear, concise and affable.
  • People respect you and like you.
  • Skilled at working with multiple internal and external parties.
  • You have strong emotional intelligence.
  • You can easily maintain a calendar, prioritize responsibilities, and strategically manage your own budget.
  • You are naturally an organized person.
  • You have demonstrated success in managing contractors/agencies when and where needed.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced working environment where agility and change is part of the journey.
  • Self-driven, positive, and collaborative individual. You enjoy collaborating and going it alone when needed.

Salary range guidance for this position is: $163,500 - $220,500
